Log Book Requirement to Ease for the 2022 Victorian Hillclimb Championship

Motorsport Australia has opened up a pathway for non-log booked competitors to earn championship points in 2022.

Drivers of eligible road registered and Club permit vehicles may compete for championship points without the requirement to hold a current Motorsport Australia Automobile Log Book providing their vehicle complies with the eligibility requirements of an appropriate class.

These competitors can get a taste of running in all rounds and competing for class championship points for the first time says Chris Harwood, Chair of the Victorian Hillclimb Panel.

Eligible vehicles can be presented for an eligibility check with a current Vic Roads registration or Club Permit as part of the entry process for each round of the championship. Competitor’s will also need to update their vehicle details on Motorsport Australia’s website to include a current registration number.

Contact David Bellenger, Eligibilty Officer for the Victorian Hillclimb Advisory Panel via david@bellenger.id.au for further details.
